Chihuhua mix reacts to youtube video

This is my dog Bejeepers' reaction to the video "Miguel howls cute style". He is a mix between a Chihuahua and something else (we are unsure - any suggestions?).

We rescued him from an abusive past, and he is very nervous of loud sounds and strangers. It seems his previous owners must have done something that affected his bark and howl. His howls in this video are more or less silent - he just lifts his snout opens his mouth a bit.

If anyone has any information about what may have happened to his bark - or anything about his breed, let me know!

Until there are none, rescue one.
