  • Hausa and Yoruba are the widely spoken languages in West Africa.. both combine is about 70 millions of speakers.Mandingo s and Fulani are spread in many countries in W/Africa but their population is small. nice music though, i love it..

  • vive l afrique

  • I am always impressed with the great dignity of singers in the traditional style of western Afrika. This is no exception.

  • his vocal is so touching....

  • Deeply moving!!!

  • Teddsull, I disagree... i think foulani is the most spoken language in West Africa or..?

  • its madingo.

  • Hats off to the genius on the harmonica.

Communion of souls, by two members of the

Human race, merging in harmony for a heady

    soulful experience... Thanks!

  • Thank you for your response. I love this music.

  • Hello.I come from Guinea-Bissau.If this song seems to you close to fulani songs is because almost all fulani singers sing sometimes/everytime manding music(Baaba Maal,Fatou linsan...).I like too much Baaba Maal but almost all music that he play or recompose is manding music or a variation. This song is BANI-A REFUSE.THE refuse of Djanke Wali and kingdon of Gabou(Guine-Bissau)to be muslims even during the invasions of fulanis of fouta djalon.Regards
