The piano was recorded on one take while improvising. There's a melody which I repeat a few times throughout the song which I created over 8 years ago and never used it... so I'm glad it finally has a home.

I've been with my girlfriend for six years now, and we've spent four and a half of those years in a long distance relationship. We both live alone and don't really know anyone in the towns we live in. We will hopefully be together soon. Until then this song really captures what every moment away from her feels like. Yet, there is an undertone of hope, knowing that in a few moths, I will see her for another few days. A tease, really, but it's those little visits that keep us strong.Thank you.
