"One of Topeka's best-known ghost stories.....

Inteligent, sentient people, and even most farm animals will actually read this video description before they post some whiney comment about not seeing any ghost, and whatever their opinion is about "ORBS". There are no ghosts shown in this video. There are no claims anywhere that this video shows any ghosts or anything paranormal (Read through the rest of the description)

However, less then inteligent mouth-breathers will continue to post idiotic comments crying about not seeing a ghost in this video....Because they didnt bother to read this description, or perhaps they cannot read at all.

My suggestion to those people: Go out to Rochester, stake the place out, and look for yourself. Please bring a video camera and whatever other gear you want, and please post your videos of that trip, and your findings.

"One of Topeka's best-known ghost stories has its roots in the life of a strange albino woman who wandered her north Topeka neighborhood at night and glared at children on their way to school during the day. After the friendless woman died in 1963 residents began reporting a glowing white female figure walking in the area after dark.

Often the sightings were near Rochester Cemetery where the woman was buried. Several employees of the nearby Goodyear Tire Factory claimed to see her regularly, and some neighbors saw the apparition as often as once a week.

The Rochester Cemetery's caretaker and his wife had a close encounter with the ghost late one night in 1968. As they pulled their car into the driveway they saw a figure scurrying among the gravestones. Thinking it a child playing a prank, they aimed the car's headlights at the figure, which was then kneeling before a grave. When the caretaker got out of the car, the ghostly figure stood up and glared angrily at him and walked deeper into the cemetery. The caretaker was so upset he called the police but the officers found nothing.

The ghost's route was so regular that one resident began watching for it as it strolled across his lawn on clear nights. Eventually, he claimed, the figure began to pause and gaze at his house as though it wished to speak to him. It began to pass closer and closer to the house until one night it stood at his children's bedroom window and watched them as they slept. The man was badly scared, but the apparition never harmed his children."

I do not suggest that this video actually contains any paranormal activity. These "haunting" videos only show the basic lay-out of some of the haunted places around Topeka.

Myself, and fellow HAPI-Go-Lucky Ghost-chaser Generica Van Slyke stopped by Rochester Cemetary on our way home from the Tenderloin show in KC. It was during the Harvest Moon, and on a whim we decided to stop by at 4:00am. We did not catch any real "Paranormal" activity, except that by definition, North Topeka is VERY "Paranormal".

Heres the basic low-down on Rochester cemetary. And as far as verifiable history goes, this is the real deal: The "Albino Woman" WAS an actual real person; an excentric woman with few friends who took walks at night in her nightgown. There are existing relatives of her in Topeka. Stories of sightings of her have come from very stable and sane people who simply would not make such things up.

This is perhaps one of the most legendary and well-known hauntings in Kansas. Just do a web search.

I slipped in some digital still pics that I took. Some which look like they contain "Orbs". 95% of the Orb pics you see on the internet are simply not orbs: They are camera artifacts, or lighting thingies. A couple of my still pics SEEM to capture "Orbs". And I put in a still pic that on first glance LOOKS like it shows menacing Red Orbs, but comparing those to the video tape, we find that they are really a stop sign and a light on a nieghbors house, however that still image DOES seem to contain some other orbs.

  • I saw her she was standin by the tree n she was just standed their move back n forworth / but this video was all right.

  • Wow.. Rusty.. real nice.. For one we are hoping that those stupid church people that go to the funerals would leave.. we dont want them either.. As far as the cemetary.. Everyone I know has had some sort of experience at Rochester.. That place is even creepy during the day.. So if you could please refrain from associating the church group with the rest of us Kanasites that would be great :D Also dont dog on our places if you havent been there youself.. I suspect you wouldnt last an hour alone.

  • this is as fake as that stupid church from topeka kansas that keeps goning to the funerals and disturbing and stalking them...... fuck you kansasites

  • Ok, so I live by this cemetary and I have seen her before. It's been proven that she is a real woman, not a ghost, and she visits her dead husband every night. Some may think it's odd that she visits him at night, but think about it, she's albino, she can't go out in the sun!! Anyways.. Every one living in Topeka Kansas knows that she recently died.

  • this really freaks me out!

  • your illiteracy annoys me....

    "wot" - what

"waiste" - are you trying to say waste or waist here?

    "hav" - have

    "unbelieveably" - unbelievably

Jesus, you should be learning how to spell instead of even being on youtube. Your opinion is invalid untill you learn to spell coherently.

  • wow... I didn't think there really was that many idiots... *ahem* " We did not catch any real "Paranormal" activity, except that by definition, North Topeka is VERY "Paranormal".

Heres the basic low-down on Rochester cemetary.".... its in the description you retards.... you can all shut up now....
