@ematt1603 I'm glad you enjoyed it ematt1603. We're not married yet no, although we're hoping to at least get engaged in the not too distant future. :)

We've travelled a bit around Thailand together ourselves, although not as far south as Bangkok (I've passed by there on my flights up to Udon Thani of course). Hoping to see a lot more of Thailand in the future though!

I was over there when the Red Shirts tryed to take over Bangkok, we were so relieved to get on that plane out, but something inside me longs to be back in Thailand, Englands boring. My wifes from Isan and I'm English and we travel to Udon every year to get to the North East. Looks like your doing ok with our Thai lady, it's all cool don't listen to all those idiot wstern people that critisise Thai people fom the comfort of their sofas.

@CMob09 I was there in May too during the troubles, but luckily any potential problems seemed to stay away from us in that regard. Everything is great with my girlfriend so far, in fact I've just returned from another two week visit to see her. Now I just need to save hard again so I can revisit soon!

Cheers man, yeah, we had a great time. The weather was lovely, and the food was great. :)

As for looking my looking like a cross between Harry Potter/ Elvis Presley, I dunno, but she seems to happy enough with me so I'm not complaining. :P

Hoping to get back over there about June time, and we'll see how it works out from there. :)

@feedbackl00p We in the West have a lot to learn from the Thai way of life, I will be returning to Thailand next year with my wife after we have saved a little. I just need those lottery number to come up, then I'm never coming back to England haha !

I'm really happy for you, I hope it lasts!

The weather is beautiful and the food is even better, I've tried all sorts of different food and Thai is the best. Yum, yum!!
