The Mermaid's Curse by SKIPtheatre

Here is a short taster of SKIPtheatre's latest interactive, site-specific theatre performance.

The Mermaid's Curse was performed this summer 2010 in Somerset and Devon. They spent a week in each location holding workshops and integrating the local and holidaying community into the final performances in each location.

The Mermaid's Curse immersed it's audience in an evening of wonder and excitement as they discovered the story of one night of terror long ago... The story of a treacherous shipwreck caused by a Mermaid's curse, one pirate's sudden madness and the revenge of the villagers. Set in breathtaking coastal locations the audience were immersed in the life of the 1890's with live music, singing and dancing.
