No offense to the Quantya, it looks like a very well built machine, but 0-30 in over 4 seconds vs. under 2 for the Zero...that's a big difference.

Yes I understand and I am in the market for an Electric dirt bike but ALL the Quantya vids are silent and ALL the Zero X vids have this associated drivetrain noise. WHY?

I'm not sure Morati, I've never ridden the Quantya. All I can tell is no one who has ridden a Zero in my presence has ever had a problem with the noise. Quite the opposite, actually.
What part of the country are you in?

Very impressive! Need to figure out that annoying drivetrain noise though. They all seem to make the same noise. Is there a cush drive on this bike?

A lot of it is also because the engine makes no noise, everything else just seems louder. You should hear the brake pump on my electric Ranger!
