@uwique "u sure i dont know?i know if that dying person beleives that,he will have eternal life, you sure i dont know?" Certainly I'm sure. What if he believes but HAS NOT, according to you, confessed his sins yet. Certainly belief would come first. What if he HAS NOT repented yet. Certainly he believed FIRST. You do not, in practice, believe that people are saved AT THE POINT of belief any more than I do.
@uwique "when the bible says if you confess your sins to god he will forgive" Watch carefully. You are taking a statement made to SAVED PEOPLE, and applying it to UNSAVED PEOPLE.
@lllannallll john1;2..yet to all who received him,to those who beleived in his name,he GAVE the right to become children of god,oh my gosh!,,what is your problem?LOL
@uwique I didnt exactly RUN to it. I said that YOU are in the position of wanting to ASSURE the man of something you DO NOT KNOW (that's the problem,,i dont know?.really?when the bible says if you confess your sins to god he will forgive, and if u repent you will be saved??u sure i dont know?i know if that dying person beleives that,he will have eternal life, you sure i dont know?
@uwique "to all who beleive in him became children of god" <-- that's not what it says. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power TO BECOME the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Now. IF ... IF ... one is a saved person at the point of belief, he would be THEN and THERE a child of God. But the verse simply says that a believer has the RIGHT .. the LIBERTY .. the POWER to become a son of God of child of God.
@lllannallll to all who beleive in him became children of god,,exactly,,whats the problem?its sayin, once your saved, your a child of god,,how is that against me?LOL
@uwique "Throughout the Bible we see that at the point of faith or belief, a believer possesses all the promises and blessings of salvation (John 1:12)" Look @ the verse you quoted! "Believers 'have the right TO BECOME' children of God!" Plain and simple. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ has that right - that liberty of action. Why quote that verse - it also is against you
@lllannallll You basically just assert that that's NOT HOW IT IS, and move on to other verses. That's a poor line of argument.no,,other scriptures say thats not how it is.
@lllannallll "What if a believer - a true believer - died before he could repent."a beleiver is a chritian, therefore, already repented,,u do alot of tounge twisting i noticed.
