Haiti girl rescue footage (Haiti Earthquake)

An Australian television cameraman apologised to his news director for missing images of a baby rescue in Haiti because he had put his camera down to help the infant, it has emerged.

A major earthquake struck southern Haiti on Tuesday, knocking down buildings and power lines and inflicting new misery on the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation. THOUSANDS of people were feared dead today after a major earthquake hit Caribbean island Haiti.
The massive quake - 7.3 on the Richter scale - has destroyed thousands of buildings in the impoverished country.
Dead and injured people lay in the streets after the quake - the strongest to hit the island in 200 years - and thousands of survivors gathered in public places.

so because we are biologically designed to die, and because the universe has been given physics, like gravity, you are angry with God? i just figure he has reason for putting us here and it is to him i go for comfort. we are happy to be alive but when something goes wrong we blame God. understandable, but try to have courage and be thankful for what we are given, others are less fortunate and still appreciate God. (i was actually trying to make a point rather than lecture)

Australian cameraman apologized because he put the camera down to help the baby?!? He what? Apologized?? Sir...you shouldn't apologize! And if your Director was mad for helping and missing footage....find another line of work. Get out of there!! Wow. I'm glad he put his camera down though.

Easy to say than understand I know.I've lost many loved ones. MANY.We all day.Way I see this? God kept the baby alive-man found her.BOTH deserve thanks. I'm happy that girl made it, but it's the guy who gets my praise for her rescue, not God.

I don't understand how that guy can say "It's the man up there that actually saved her, not me." I just can't bring myself to believe in a God who intervenes in human affairs, nor can I believe in miracles. Why? Because that would mean God picked that girl out of the 230,000+ who perished to be saved. He let the rest die. Many of them in great pain and agony for days and possibly weeks before they finally expired. How was that girls life any more precious than any other childs who died?
