I sold my 32" Insignia LCD HDTV to a friend and upgraded to a 42" Vizio LCD HDTV. I also picked up a Toshiba HD-A3 at Sears on their Black Friday sale. I still have my Philips HDD/DVD recorder, Harman/Kardon AVR 247 and my Bose Acoustimass 16.

  • do u use 720p or 1080i?

  • When I had this set-up I usually got he best results using 1080i. I guess it is all personal preference. Test it and see what you like best. I now have a 1080p TV and a 1080p Blu-ray player.

  • I don't really know what all that means. I don't run around my living room with a frequency meter in my hand. I go on how it sounds to my ears and my ears like what they hear.

  • People seem to have a misconception that Vizio products are inferior to other Television manufacturers. When in reality their picture quality, refresh rates, and the such are on par.

    Enjoy,

    Jeff

  • I agree, thats why i have a 1080p tv with a blu-ray player
