I really appreciate the effort. There really isn't anything out there worth watching - and certainly nothing with the feel of Traveller. Well done. Looking forward to it. Remember: it is very likely that the harshest of critics are not doing anything like this, but rather spend their time surfing the web 24/7. And money doesn't always mean quality - look at Hollywood.

@CaesiusX I absolutely appreciate the kind words. We're still working on the script and the production schedule (both of which have been time consuming, considering we're all amateurs) but we're still moving forward, all appearances to the contrary.

And critics don't bother me- this is a labor of love, so I'm comfortable taking the useful advice and discarding the snark :)

Very cool. I want to see more of this. Is it based off an actual game of Traveller or just a story written for Traveller?

@MaxWriter Some of the characters are based loosely on characters from a TNE campaign from the early 90's. I was not the original GM of that game, but he's involved in the production. There are story elements of that campaign that may come through in this project.

Over the course of developing the story, however, most everything from that campaign has been revised in some fashion.

@bozzutoman Well, not only low budget but quick film time. We shot all of this in only 3 days of principle shooting.

I'm satisfied with the results for a crew that had no idea what we were doing when we started. I'm hoping to have a better product for the series :)

As a Traveller player from many years back (the early 1980's) and recently returning to RPG'ing and Traveller in particular, GREAT tribute. I thought this trailer got better as it went on. The music makes it towards the end. I'm very impressed - especially as it's done on volunteer labor and on a budget of basically nothing!
