Makenzie Stocker Tribute

One of my friends Makenzie Stocker died instantly in a car crash on Wednesday June 3rd, 2009. She was an incredible inspiration to not only me but all who knew her. She is dancing with Jesus no doubt.

The song "You and Me", by Lifehouse, is a song that she and I sang together while leading worship one Sunday. We both loved singing it and would do so randomly. The background is me singing the song, I only wish she was singing it with me. Being able to worship Jesus with her was like a consuming fire. Her passion for Christ was too much for words. When she sang, the Spirit filled her. I think we both loved singing together because of our bond in our Faith and the fire that came from it.

We will sing it again though, one day in Heaven.

Keep dancing with Jesus, love you.

This is also for us who are here left one earth, with some encouragement.

I went to school with with the Stockers in 4th and 5th grade, she had promised my brother that for his 18th birthday they would go skydiving together. So for her, he is going to go skydiving in her memory
