I overall like him and this speech but I find the story of getting a job a bit wrong. That'd just be harassment and you'd probably be removed by security in this day and age!

He is speaking the truth! I can listen to him all day. I am encouraged and motivated to keep moving forward. God always has a way of getting a word to you when you're feeling down and discouraged.

Here's what I got out of this video: It is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity than to have opportunity and not be prepared.
Preparation does two things. It sets in motion the laws of success so you can meet the thing for which you prepare. It helps shape your self-image so you will embrace the opportunity when it arrives.
Obviously, Les Brown got ready and his self-image followed along. So he was ready when "Rock" gave him his big break.

Oh my God...i had to listen to this man when tyms were very hard for me, a tym wen I was on the down side of the roller coaster but hey i feel so relieved now, I am starting to see that there is an angel living in me so what I got to do is to fasten my "seat belt". THANK YOU MR LES BROWN, GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU.

@girly476, I'm glad this video helped you. I use these videos as a reference for whenever I feel a bit depressed because of the pressures of life. I knew that others could benefit from his lectures as well, and this is why I posted the videos. Les Brown helps me stay focused and to be mindfully aware of Murphy's Law, and to keep from becoming a living dead person!
