most ITG players did not AAA everything on DDR. Konami held a "world championship" but americans were not allowed. that leaves Sterf and MMX and DrD gypped even though by their regular performance, they probably would have taken 1-2-3. i saw the webcast where players there could not break 8 missing on Pluto Challenge which was in the final round

@divesdonna, well if you can't aaa every file in ddr chances are you suck at itg anyway
-
How do you crown a world champion of ddr/itg? theres so much unknown talent you'd never be able to tell. And btw for all you retards, trying to compare this guy and mad matt is like trying to compare butter with chinese food. Sure they're both edible, but they're completely different and unrelated.

RT tormentor309 enjoy your stds!
RT FutileExistence wrong, just because people brag the most doesn't make them the best. sterf has all their scores and more but he doesn't brag about it, but he does have pictures and videos of everything they haven't done

I'll just accept my title as the pussy magnet. You guys can have your ddr trophies and what not.

@colloq59 I'm sorry is this a joke as to how seriously people take this game?

Hell! Windeu is the king at reading the most abnormally set up charts that NO ONE in their right mind (DJ Sterf included) would be able to read just because it's so ridiculous! xD
-
I understand that there will always be an issue on the use of "C-Mods" to keep the tempo consistent and not get to read most annoying gimmicks. It doesn't take the difficulty of the song but it does lessen the skill you have to use for it.
I now now begin to acknowledge DJ Sterf skills as a player more but in terms of COMBINED skill: "BPM gimmicks, bad synchronization, drift, stops, stamina, speed, etc." I still think that Matt, Happy Feet!, Flash 18, MegamanX, etc. are better
-
Also don't think for a moment that I believe DDR is an inferior game, because its not. I grew up on it! =D As terrible as the charts are, they offer a new meaning of fun to some players. =)
But even though Matt is a speed guy he plays charts with unconventional (or even tricky) patterns like "Future Destination" and even charts with "negative BPM"! And he does very well at them and calls them "fun"
DJ Sterf best in world DDR has every AAA

Just reading through the comments and synthesizing:
- You want to say that Matt is better at ITG but Sterf has 100 official quads, and Matt has 44
- You say tournaments are for consistency, and Mad Matt has lost in the first round of almost all of them (again, he is a different type of player), but Sterf has gotten "perfect tournaments"
- You keep guessing at what Sterf has done and can or can't do, but you believe that Mad Matt can do anything, even with all of the above.
What?
