Actually, espresso has a lower amount of caffeine, since it's forced thru, it does't have time to absord as much caffeine. Drip is less strong in taste (since it's so watered down) but has a much higher caffeine count.
I used to get coffee withdrawal headaches during the weekends, lol But since switching to espresso, it's not a problem anymore :)
I actually just bought a Odea Giro myself, to replace my cheap Krups one. Just wished they had an orange model like yours, looks very nice :)

What exactly is espresso?
ExoticAutosClub 3 years ago
It's the black stuff (eg. coffee) coming out of the machine.

Yes, I know, but what is the difference between Espresso and just regular coffee?

Espresso is made by forcing very hot water under high pressure through coffee powder. The pressure creates the "cream" on top of it and generally espresso has a higher concentration of caffeine compared to drip coffee (based on the same volume).
Oh, and it tastes better too, but I am biased.
