Orthodox Concelebration in Zurich 2008 - Reading of the Gospel - Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo

Weihrauch und Evangeliumseinleitung auf Amharisch / Ge'ez durch Bischof Melketsedek, Vater Haile Giorgis (äthiopisch-orthodox) und einen eritreisch-orthodoxen Diakon.

Am 11. September 2008, dem Gedenktag der zürcher Stadtheiligen Felix, Regula und Exuperantius fand im Grossmünster zum sechsten Mal ein gemeinsames Gebet von zehn verschiedenen orthodoxen Gemeinden der Region Zürich statt.

Beteiligte Kirchen:
die armenisch-apostolische,
die äthiopisch-orthodoxe,
die eritreisch-orthodoxe,
die griechisch-orthodoxe,
die koptisch-orthodoxe,
die rumänisch-orthodoxe,
die russisch-orthodoxe,
die serbisch-orthodoxe,
die syrisch-orthodoxe und
die indisch-orthodoxe Kirche.

On September 11, 2008, the commemoration day of the martyrs St. Felix, Regula and Exuperantius 10 Orthodox Churches held a concelebration for the sixth time.

The participating churches were the Russian, Greek, Serbian, Romanian, Armenian, Indian, Syrian, Coptic, Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox churches. The latter three also celebrated their new year on this occasion.
