A video of Sword Beach in Normandy, France - one of the British invasion beaches. The Grand Bunker is now a museum with a vast amount of artifacts from WWII. Located in Ouistreham, the museum makes for a great visit. This video was shot on HD in 2006.

@MISHMIAH No they didn't. Based on scales, the British dominated in the west by air and sea, and with the USA were fairly even on land. Hence the British Empire and USSR dominated and won.

Britian. We thought there where more plans than that which where there. Same goes for the Germans, but when we started sending planes over to France an Norway the Germans where counting less planes. so where sendin fewer fighters. See Britain flew in groups of 12 planes, an the Germans flew in groups of 8 planes. Each side thought they flew in groups the same size as there own. Simple error which helped britain win the battle of Britain an Germany lose. Sorry 4 rantin.

People u need 2 remember Nazi Germany didn't declare war on us. (Britain) we declare war on Nazi Germany. Hitler admired the British people. For wot we had achieved, i.e. The British empire. An he went 2 war with us. And he despised the Russians, but had a treaty with them an split Poland, half hitler, half Stalin. @efc23 Hitler didnt want to conquer Britain, He loved the British culture and admired the British Empire, He wanted the British as Allies.(The British were treated as equals) If Britain had lost the battle of britain, Then the would have to accept peace and join the Axis, Hitler didnt want to rule over Britain. He wanted the British as Allies to fight communism.
