I have to thank NorbertR33 and others for these marvelous trips back in time with "What's My Line" video clips. This show ended when I was a kid so every video clip I'm seeing is for the first time and it's just absolutely exhilarating.

"Baby Jane" brought Bette her 10th Oscar nomination (she lost to Anne Bancroft's performance as Annie Sullivan in "The Miracle Worker.")

Now I wonder how Bette, or Joan would call these reality attention whores these days. If she was alive she would be ranting her life off. Joan, well, she would have been knitting!

sadly its the true. Even the great Bette Davis quoted it: "nowadays, they say starring ,here and there in my days we earned that recognition" those were the early days were stars were the real thing in new America we got a bimbo smurfette called Snooki a star.

Those eyes !

She looks great in this clip. She also reminds me of Jeanne Moreau here. BETTE DAVIS...All Hail the Queen!

This episode would have to be from 1962, since that's when "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" came out. That's a great movie, BTW. If you haven't seen it, check it out!

She has Bette Davis eyes.
The stars of yesteryear were in fact just that: STARS!!! They weren't just talented they were smart! Today we have overpaid egos who are basically dumb as sticks.
