Marion Jones pleads guilty to lieing to federal investigaters about steroid use
if you dont know who she is she is an olympic runner she won 5 gold medals and 2 or 3 bronze i think and because of the steroid use they are takeing them away from her.

I'm not really understanding why you think she shouldn't have been crying. Wouldn't you be crying if someone gave you a drug, then you found out later that it was steroids after winning all those Gold Medals?????????? She lied because she thought she won those on her own, without the help of steroids, she was questioning if she let down her family. It took guts for her to come out and tell the truth in the end.

if you would do your research..you would understand that she DIDN'T know she was taking steroids when they were given to her. she found out they were steroids when prosecutors told her they were. she went to jail because she lied, saying she didn't take the steroids. no she shouldn't have lied, she realizes that and apologized for it.
