Numark was front and center at this year's DMC Championship. This marked the first time that digital DJ gear, Numark's NS7, was showcased at the show and next year will be the first time they are used in competition.

  • @ozulu45 he is doing one click - two click orbits, transformers, crabs, drags, drops, and scribbles....thats skill, real vinyl is beautiful and better than midi controllers..but not "any idiot" can do what he did on digital tables...DT's only help in beatlocking and giving you cues, DT's DONT help in scratching, they dont help in what song you wanna play next and they damn sure don't help with creativity each Dj brings to the tables, Dj Jazzy Jeff use's serato, does that make him a fake dj? nope

  • no headphones ...impressive...

  • great vid but the dj needs improovment... peace

  • @duquetteroxx the midi question isn't about the hardware, it's the software. serato n traktor do not show the faders on the screen, however if you were to use serato itch w the bridge software, and you have the ttm-57 or 58, it will record your fader movements in ableton live. the question in wondering is why do you want a display of the faders on the screen?

  • @TheSolChild Spot on.

  • @djxman505 for example dj pauly D...nuff said..smh

  • genius

  • do you also see, that he cut cut's (2:30)? thats no "skill". ok, it sounds incredible but its nothing special to use finish cuts and cut them. i think he is good, but he use the wrong hardware.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • I respect Dj I-DEE's Turntablist Skills. He makes the NS-7 Look Real good with his background using Technics 1200's originally. He basically applied what he knew as a Vinyl Battle DJ and applied it using the NS-7. The easy parts for him was cueing and set points. Thats where u see him pressing all the buttons.

Id personally Prefer my Technics 1200's any day, for the real deal battling. But I must admit this was pretty kool to see an NS-7 doing simulating an artform made decades ago. Real Kool
