Touchdown after the ban: George Galloway arrives in Canada

On the evening of Oct. 2, 2010, outspoken anti-war activist and former British MP George Galloway arrived in Canada to a throng of supporters waiting to greet him at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. Eighteen months ago, Galloway was refused entry and deemed a security threat.

This time, Galloway was armed with the ruling of Federal Court Judge Richard Mosley, who made it clear that the Conservative government used the Immigration Act to prevent Galloway from entering Canada because they disagreed with his political views -- not because he presented any threat to Canadians.

@Thunderwavia If the US invaded Canada because it believed that in the 1700s, Southwestern Ontario was rightfully US land and began putting US settlements, installed the US military in it, and pushed people in Northern Ontario and created a new border, would you be okay with it. If we fought against America to keep our land, are we (assuming that America was a Christian state, which it's not, but for argument's sake) "anti-Christians?" No, we're not. @Thunderwavia I'll explain everything wrong with your comment. Anti-Israel =/= Anti-Jew. Hamas was created by the Israelis to create a power imbalance in Palestine. Hamas is fighting back against Israel. Like it or not, Israel has blockaded people, kicked them out of their homes, and stolen their land. Israelis deserve all the shit they get for being in land not rightfully theirs. Israelis just happen to be Jews, but not all Jews happen to be Israelis.

Galloway's right when he says UK's judicial system doesn't discriminate. Even after he forcefully attempted to ban Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders from entering the UK, their judicial system allowed him in - what a hypocrite.
