November 16, 2002 - Twickenham, London - Highlights
England have recorded their first ever hat-trick of victories over Australia after a scintillating contest at Twickenham.
In a match as captivating as the victory over New Zealand one week before, two tries from Ben Cohen and the boot of Jonny Wilkinson ensured another southern hemisphere scalp.

  • Keep these videos coming please, I was there that day, only 12 years old, such a good day, tickets were alot cheaper aswell :)

  • 05:30 and what a future this man has as well, the other wing, simpson-daniel.... ;(

  • @Wobblly121 Because Wilkinson is ten times the player Barnes could ever have been. Plus he's a Sky commentator, and they're always shit.

  • Wonderful to watch again. Thanks for the great videos. Don't suppose you have the 26-26 draw Eng-NZ in 1997, do you?

  • I hate Stuart Barnes always so negative and what does he have against jonny wilkinson? Wilkinson gets a hard 50M kick and Barnes asks why everyone is applauding he really hacks me off :( great vid though

  • thanks so much for this man and all the others love long videos :D

  • This England team would win every world cup. Superb

  • Grandiose !

    Quel niveau de rugby à l'époque !

  • I missed this at the time, thanks very much for posting.

  • Blimey, you only have to watch 2 minutes of this to realise the differences between this England team and the current RWC 2011 England team.

For Cohen's try, they had an inside centre who could break the gain line, the forwards cleared the ruck quickly, the scrum half does not take a step- just passes the ball, and the runners come from depth and run straight direct lines.

It is a simple game when played correctly.

George Gregan and Matt Dawson- such a fantastic pair of fast passers.
