This video shot from a helicopter on Sunday for the Journal Inquirer, CTNewsJunkie.com, and LocalOnlineNews.TV shows the damaged Kleen Energy natural gas power plant in Middletown, Conn. after an explosion blew most of the sheet metal walls off a building. At least two people were killed and dozens more were injured in the blast that occurred with dozens of people inside or nearby the building.

  • kinda sad this is the first time i heard of this happening, the Los Angeles news companies just want to focus on earthquakes in third world countries rather than helping families right here in the U.S.

  • I live pretty close to this place. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, as well as everyone involved in the emergency operations.

  • Cant possibly imagine what its like inside, training for incidents like this are never even close to how it really is. Looking at the outside gantries in this video shows the total mess of twisted metal, it will be worse inside. My heart goes out to all victims, their families and the emergancy workers.
