Shea moisture curling soufflé twistout results

Used the curling soufflé for the first time. First impression: I really like this product. Not crunchy. Good definition. Good length retention. Good shine. A little sticky when applying product but hair is soft when dry. I kept my twists in for two nights and one day before removing them to ensure they were dry.




I deep conditioned with cantu rinse out conditioner, olive oil, honey, a little water and aloe juice. Plastic cap and hair therapy wrap for the length of one episode on Hulu. :)

-Shea moisture Shea butter moisture retention shampoo
-cantu Shea butter rinse out conditioner
- kinky curly knot today leave in
- detangled and trimmed
- applied Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie
- flat twisted with Shea moisture curling soufflé
- undid twists with olive oil on my hands

@frenchiedee Thanks, frenchie! I'm glad you can tell because i don't really feel that it has grown much this summer. I'm temporarily living in a place that has well water and it's really harsh on my hair. been having a lot of breakage and knots. But it looks and feels so much better after the deep condition and trim.

You're the second person who's said the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle gives good length retention. I have problems with shrinkage, so hearing this review on this product is selling me on purchasing it. I already use the Shea Moisture line, so I'll stop this evening after work and pick up a jar. @mgillespie12 thanks girl! yeah i was sort of nervous bout the texture as well, but it doesn;t stay sticky.  I haven't tried to use it as a wash and go though. not sure if it would work for that.
