@AlluMan96 Who can tell really. I don't know of anywere that explains what this tracks use would have been in the game. Obviously for a battle though :-).

@lifeinahand I think it's a side effect of Square rushing the release of the game, it came out just one year after FFI. FFII was very innovative but it could've been a lot better (and receive better reception) if they had taken more time to finish it properly (fixing bugs, making the level system less exploitable). And they should've used the normal boss battle theme more often too (it only plays in some boss battles towards the end of the game)

this obviously was the final boss music of the famicom, why they took it out i'd love to know same goes for the dungeon, and airship themes
