  • This is not the result of any chemical imbalance that can be scientifically measured. Careful with so-called antidepressants that change brain chemicals. You can get hooked on these chemicals. Getting off them can be a nightmare.

  • JohnnyRock - Postpartum Mood Disorders are the results of a myriad of factors, unique to each woman. Factor can be circumstantial, psychological, physiological, hormonal, chemical, and are a delicate combination of all these. Have you considered that the reason it may not be "scientifically measured" (I could debate you on that assertion), is that very little research has been done of the topic. Besides, just because science is unable to measure it with accuracy, does not mean it isn't real.

  • I had post-partum psychosis in 1984. It was a hellish nightmare. I feared I would murder my baby and I ran away from my husband and baby. I never went back and I never got help. My baby is 25 years old today and wants to go to medical school. I'm glad I didn't kill her. But I never had more children.

  • outstanding.

  • "The Flower Duet" (Dome Epais) from the French Opera "Lakme," by Delibes.

  • anybody knows the name and singer of this classical songs?

  • This is a wonderful video! Great Job! Hopefully it can help other women relate to what so many of us have suffered from and help women overcome this terrible disorder.

  • JohnnyRock, any mom who is on antidepressants struggled with the idea of taking them, believe me. For some, it is the ONLY thing that worked.

  • Sarah, this is wonderful! The music is beautiful and makes you want to continue reading and watching and listening.
