There was another movie, that came out around this time (I think), and I was hoping Heidi would lead me to it...the basic plot revolved around this tin/metal soldiers that rang the church bells every hour (on the hour), and they were going to be taken away, and this little girl, mother, and maybe her grandmother set out to stop it.

I swear I didn't make this movie up...does it ring bells for anyone?
