Talay & Knutsson Project //Nye Toner i Nord

With the Talay & Knutsson Project/Nye Toner i Nord the Swedish saxophone player Jonas Knutsson and the Turkish baclama player Fuat Talay have created a meeting point between the Nordic and the Anatolian/Turkish folk music traditions together with some of the most outstanding jazz and folk musicians in Scandinavia.
In this meeting they are free to explore differences and similarities of their musical traditions, with compositions by Talay and Knutsson as a foundation. The musicians are all hand picked by Knutsson and Talay and come from Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
