Located just a hop over the harbor, East Boston is a hidden historical, and recently multicultural, gem. Suffolk Downs, once graced by both The Beatles and Seabiscuit, continues to draw a crowd. And the influx of Italian immigrants at the end of the 19th century gave way to a vibrant culture and provided us with Boston's most historic pizzeria: Santarpio's.
