Located just a hop over the harbor, East Boston is a hidden historical, and recently multicultural, gem. Suffolk Downs, once graced by both The Beatles and Seabiscuit, continues to draw a crowd. And the influx of Italian immigrants at the end of the 19th century gave way to a vibrant culture and provided us with Boston's most historic pizzeria: Santarpio's.

A century later, another cultural shift occurred with a large Latino population moving into East Boston bringing with them their own native delicacies. Angela's Cafe is known for being home to the most Authentic Mexican food found in the area.
