New Order are an English rock group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, backing vocals, electronic drums) and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers).

The band was formed in the wake of the demise of their previous band, Joy Division.

This live is the live which appeared on field Festi Val [FINBSRY] of Britain in 2002.

Moreover, it is the enthusiastic live performed in rainy weather.

  • Ian Curtis is looking down on New Order, but he's not smiling. He's dancing. He's dancing the only way he could and the way only he could. God bless him for his songs. Ian will stay in our hearts forever.RIP Ian, you beautiful soul

  • @mrssiggi78 Shut up, without these 3 people you would never have heard about Ian Curtis in the first place.

  • LOVE this song especially the 'glass' like sound - what instrument is that?? No need for histrionic manifestation between "Your confusion" and "my illusion" though....

  • rip ian curtis !! your looking down smiling i hope my brother !! u went to soon and now i hope your at peace !!

  • @miamorphos Lol,sounds too homo for my liking mate, each to their own though :)

  • @robert140602 "aural" sex? I disagree. In honor of Joy Division, wouldn't it be ianal sex?

  • the HAAAAAA was necesary?

  • Hooky and Morris are imho, the finest rhythm section going.

    Pure aural sex.

  • absolutely love the marching pipe band esque drum beat, very original :)

  • Ian's musical genius is great. But i wish JD & NO fans should stop comparing the JD version & the NO version of atmosphere. We should keep the legacy of Ian & JD. We should resist the commercialization of the music industry. Ian will be happy if we keep his memory....

  • @floppyd0g Any band with hooky and Morris in it would be successful,I've been lucky enough,in my younger days, to watch them practice(as JD) behind Broughton baths.

Hooky and Steve were always the friendly ones.

I sat next to Barney in Sid n Harrys barbers once, and even though he knew me,he blanked me,probably because I was only about 16 at the time, lol.

'Decades' particularly sticks in my mind as it blew ones ears off :)

  • @robert140602 It's a no brainer old fruit. If God played the skins it'd sound like Steve.
