Dang, what's up with the 2.0T keeping up like that. Nice work! What have you done to it? I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI...

No. The higher you go, the air density decreases.
Turbo motors pressurize the ambient air, allowing the engine to virtually take in the same amount as they would at sea level (depending on the electronics of the car adjusting turbo pressure based on ambient pressure). N/A cars do not get this benefit at high altitude, and since the air is less dense, they take in proportionately less of it. Less air means less fuel can be combusted, equals less power.

@albokidnj no

turbochargers, they call it turbonormalizing, it flat rates the power at altitude...best example is probably the cirrus sr22-GTS turbo, or columbia 400 turbo...
-
@caseyryeback1913 it didn't. If you read, the camera was in the 2.0T.

2.0T just had an FRC remap - 155-160 kW ATW.

Yeah - S4's a heavy bugger, and loses out on a lot of performance potential at altitude.. thanks for the comments!
