To each his own...but I understand how someone that didn't come up in the Teena era would feel, there's barely a handful of GREAT current artists to compare to each other( I AM open to new artists btw), & no I'm not stuck in the past, music is just not what it once was.

I remember the first time I ever heard this song-- I instantly LOVED it.....Teena Marie's voice and musical abilities are magical-- so sad that she is no longer with us--- she has and will continue to touch many hearts and souls-- what an AMAZING talent.

Candice Glover destroy Christina why thats laughable because they are two different ranges. Candice is a strong contralto and Christina is a mezzo-soprano.Candice style is more soulful and jazzy she kind of reminds me of Jazmine Sullivan,while Christina voice is wide old-school blues mix classical pop type of voice. Both great singers but both very different and equally talented.

PS when I said don't compare them, not only was I talking about the voice..I was talking about musical TALENT period!!
