Poor little rat! So cute but it died... *hugs* It's hard to lose rats. My first one died when I was 2 and a half and it was by acident. My bigger brother did it I forgoot how tho. I do remember it was an acident.

the fact that it is pink makes me think that your vet probably added a bit of flavoring to the meds. If he has trouble breathing, you can go to the bathroom and run a hot shower, the steam will help him alot. I hope your munchin feels better soon!

It was for a respiratory infection.
And nothing was added, he just liked it.

i just got my first pair of rats. they are right now exploring their new home. im amazed that your cat was so well behaved around a rat. i have three cats and im a little worried they willl not accept the rats
