Are the wig wags still there?

The ~last wig-wag? but... I just found out about them!
-
Its not the last one, UP, CN, CP, and WSOR and Santa Fe have plenty of wig wags still operating.
-
cool!
-
I've never seen Amfleets and Superliners on the same train, nice catch!
-
also the only other operating one in Colorado is at the Colorado Railroad Museum & that one is operated by a switch on the signal lol
-
It's a classic American railroad scene set in contemporary time; a wig-wag starts " swinging & ringing " while a streamlined limited thunders by at mainline speed!
-
It is not the last opperating Wig Wag on a Mainline railroad. Union Pacific still has a handfull in opperation as does BNSF. A lot of UP's are in CA. Still an awesome sight and great video.

I want one!
AWESOME! The dirt road it is protecting could be a private road. If that is the case, this signal could be privately owned, too, because it is very good condition in appearance and functionality. This road is already protected by two cross-bucks on each side so the signal could be there as a novelity. Of course, if it is privately owned, the owner would probably have to compensate the owner of the trackage and pay for it's electricity usage and up-keep, too.

Great video! Thanks for posting. I'm shocked but pleased that BNSF has (so far) left this treasure alone.
I will be driving through Colorado in March. I think I will stop by and see this gem of railroading days long gone.
