I love this music! My sister played it with three of her classmates in one of her concerts and I fell for it from the moment it started. It makes me feel the rain... and maybe even some hail? :) Thank you for sharing your rendition with us worldwide. Keep up the good work!

yes, partok pizzicato is the "slapping part" It is very fun to play but annoying to hear a class practicing
-
impressive, my class of 20 can't do that

hi,
a very good interpretation, been looking for a good decent video of this beautiful piece for ages, as a guitar ensemble i am a member of is perfroming this soon, and i wanted to see what other people did for the free rythm section, as it can easily get out of hand.. also, at what tempo do you play sections a& b onwards?

Hi, thanks for your comment! For section A, I played at 64 BPM, and from B onward I played at 80 BPM. I agree that it's easy to let the free rhythm get out of hand, but I suspect that Leo Brouwer intended a certain amount of disarray in this section, so I wouldn't worry too much if you think it's sounding a bit disorganized. But I dunno, that's just how I feel about it. Hope you have fun with this piece, and good luck with your performance!
