@smacman68 Well-stated. Thank you.

@tmo7734 I agree, to a point. Power chords are what comprises the biggest chunk of rock and metal. So mixing a few power chords into a demo is the only way to get a rounded, full review. Also, some low end chugging, palm muting a gallop pick and some of the other metal techniques are advisable. Hearing how well the amp handles tap and sweep picking is good too. Hearing each note of an arppegio tells you alot about an amp. Cheers!

Nice review Jordan. Bogner is by far the best boutique amp maker in the business. There are some close competitors, but noone to take the title. I am mainly in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal scene. I venture into Industrial Metal (i.e. Rob Zombie), NuMetal (ie 5 finger death punch) and similiar genres. I would love to hear some of these amps setup to play these styles. It seems all you guys demo is Blues and Pop. Thanks for reading this post!

@chase1410 3mm big stubby's for me

@firstgearlead To the contrary, his playing demonstrated versatility. The typical diet of power chords -- which is common in these type of videos -- is the mark of an uninspired amateur.

little hint of jerry reed in the playing!

I wish all the SRV wanna bees would quit talking about how bad the players are and just listen to the TONE of the amp being shown. That's what the video is about. Give the guy a break. Ya can't make 6 figures for Premier Guitar AND play like Hexdrix too :-) Right Jordan???

Good sounding amp but the Jordan just tried to hard here and over played.
