The subject of tribulation and suffering, persecution and woe as applied to the Body of Christ is a controversial issue, not for the Bible, but, in the interpretation of what God has said. Many teachers and Christians appeal to the grace of God and His promises of special provision to different people in the Bible. However, to be honest on this subject, we must Identify with the proper audience!

God's promises to national Israel DO NOT all apply to Christians nor do His other promises to specific Christians at a specific juncture who were on a specific task or mission. So, in asking, "will I suffer persecution, or should I make provision for hard times?", we most certainly must ask of the promises of God that we invoke for our answers, "Does that apply to me?" and, "Am I that audience that Jesus the Christ was speaking to in that case?"

Failure to answer these questions WILL affect how much you suffer and much individual effort you will exert to prepare for the hard times we are facing

  • I am glad to hear truth out in the open. I have been saying Americans are soft. Other countries have HAD to survive, have had to fight to the death. Thank you brother for that inspired message. Sharing it where I can.

  • Appreciate the Video Response Brother Ken! Keep your eyes on the Living God, he alone remains constant in a world that's quickly changing!
