And it is one thing -- one stupid, cataclysmic thing -- to try to slime your opponent because of his relationship with some guy, only to then find out that your own candidate has a stronger relationship with that guy.

But this graduates to the level of fatal political malpractice when the ultimate result of your effort to slime your opponent, is to in fact draw a parallel between your candidate, and William Ayers.
The huffing, puffing, panicky McCain noise machine has really done it this time.

John McCain, and William Ayers, both gave money to this man Rashid Khalidi.
Senator McCain, you may want to get a pad and pencil here and write all this down.

I'm actually going to agree with William Kristol, when he wrote in the New York Times, that you should fire your entire campaign staff.

In three short steps, while trying to link Senator Obama to Rashid Khalidi... they have instead linked you to Rashid Khalidi...and Bill Ayers.

It's sad that a historian and scholar who organizes to represent a disenfranchised, helpless people through his intellect and writings in the face of thuggishness and militarism is automatically portrayed either a terrorist, a cohort, or a sympathizer. The American media's shamelessly orientalist portrayal of the Middle East through its coverage of various "news stories" there has degenerated into a fully-realized racism and hate towards Arabs that is beyond reproach.

Anyone who's ever read an historical essay by Rashid Khalidi (or his father, what you might say the principal historian of the Palestinian people) can only get sick while listening to this. Palin couldn't even get his NAME right.

And this guy Oberman is about as far left and nasty as it gets. No wonder MSNBC only gets about 600,000 viewers per night when Fox News gets about 4 to 7 million viewers per night. Fair and balanced. And yes Sarah Palin is now tied with BO and every GOP potential presidential candidate is beating BO in the polls. This fall a revolution will take place and the GOP will take control and stop this BO nazi black liberation theology radical who loves communism and hates whites.
