  • Wow if you can make an Mks30 sound this good then I wonder what you could do with the Mks80?

  • @maccagrabme

ok, within the next time, i will make a demo with the MKS 80.

  • I love how there are all these CS80 and MemoryMoog demos that sound like crap and you come in here with the comparably lowly MKS-30 and lay waste to the place! A great example of what an underrated synth can do in the right hands. BRAVO!!!

  • So nice to hear the MKS-30 being used to its full potential. Very inspiring work!

  • Pure synth gold.

  • this is one of the best analog demos i have heard. and i'm very picky! you could say that this is a demo for some new $4000 pure analog synth and people would believe it. GREAT JOB! so question... if this sounds so good and people say that the jx3p sounds "better" because of different chips... is there a possibility i like the rack better? ha.

  • somehow this sound better then my jx-3p...

  • ace

  • As with your other videos I'm really impressed! Excellent example and proof that it's that it's the user that makes a synthesizer sound good. You don't have to have the best gear to make great sounds. You just have to be creative and talented and really explore the possibilities of a synth.

As stated before, there are far too many synth videos on Youtube with people who don't know how to play, arrange, program and use a synth musically.

  • @culturaleyes Juno 60 is far more limited sonically compared to the 2 OSC / Syncable JX-3P/MKS-30. I'm sure you could aproximate it but tonally it wouldn't be as cool imo.

  • I picked mine up over 10 years ago from a Genesis Cover band that was disbanding. I got the PG200 with it as well and 1 memory cartridge. I haven't used it in recent years, but I"m never getting rid of it.

All the string parts, bassline in this track is the MKS-30

  • never sold mine... never will... my grandkids can have it when I'm gone... with the programer box, this is just a handy way to add all 'those' sounds... but I have never taken the time to tweak it like this! ... excellent job... and yes... are you up for publishing the parameters? ... or some of the tricks you've used?

  • this is my first youtube reaction ever. This actually is worth the effort. This shit rocks!
