Ipad: You know what it does only a bigger ipod touch

Ipad 2nd generation: Now with a camera and you can run multiple stuff at the same time.

Ipad 3rd generation: Now a real PC tablet.

Ipad 4th generation: Now iphone integrated.

Its all marketing everything is planned in advance just to suck every single available penny in you wallet instead releasing the better version right away.

look haters, i kno how u feel. wen i first saw the ipad, i waz like HELL NO. THAT IS JUST A GIANT IPOD TOUCH. but then learned more about it, and i decided to buy it to see how it works. AND I LOVE IT. the experience of using it is simply amazing. its great to read on, especially with the new ibook app, and playing games on is phenomenal. all im saying is: before u shoot it down with assumptions, try using it first. hopefully youll love it as much as i do.

@amaazze you are very right. I think apple products are great. Nothing wrong with them.. except people get too insane and get sucked into their genius marketing. Steve jobs once gave schools free macs so that kids can learn to use it and get used to apple products. If apple did that... I mean they must have done all sorts of marketing tricks to gain more buyers.. and people are merely falling for them. Again, you can't always gain in this world. You are losing something one way or other

Let's see... On my iPad, I play games, from flinging birds to racing cars. I use it for quiet background sounds while I do yoga. I play workout videos. I video chat with my wife while I'm on tour. I show wedding photos to friends. I manage inventory at work. I futz around on the internet. I read plain books by, say, Jeremy Clarkson, and browse media-rich content from National Geographic. I do 90% of what I do on my laptop with 10% of the weight and more than triple the battery life. I love it.

I remember watching this live and remember him saying it was better than a laptop? I personally do not like a laptop, I prefer a desktop, but will use the laptop when needed. I will not say it is better than a ibook, however the ipad is great for traveling and flights! Perfect size for watching movies on the plane and also the battery just last forever. It is also great taking to the resort, thin, light and great to sit by the pool and catch up on emails, not to mention reading a good book!
