Custom Exhaust on my Nightster by powder coating the pipes then removing the powder coat to expose the chrome from underneath.

I can replicate any logo from Police, Fire, Military, Club Organization. Also any graphic that anyone can dream of

I'm having trouble with the powder coating coming off where the muffler joins the header pipe. Usually chrome is bead blasted off before coating. But I wanted to see if I could keep the chrome and powder coat.

If you have the chrome bead blasted you'll have no problems...

@OlyMar83 Have you looked into getting them done in a black ceramic coating? Heat won't effect that finish whatsoever.

Why don't you use Cerakote Black Velvet instead of powder. It's the best high temp black on the market. Almost all major pipe manufactures use it.
