@Katryce1234 The Vietnam War was a supposed "Police Action" on America's part. The Judge (Martin Sheen) was comparing the conflict between WW2 and Vietnam, as WW2 was a REAL War they had to win or it would change the course of history, as 'Nam, it wouldnt matter if America won or lost because it wasn't our war.
