Bolf hira tanto - koshirae/polish

Some stuff i was working on recently,first is the hira zukuri tanto forged by Pavel Bolf,i montefd it in aikuchi koshirae and wrapped the saya with smaller pieces of samegawa,It's a very annoying thing to do because i had to connect the pieces almost perfectly on both sides of the saya,this is done by sanding the same by hand which really takes a long time.
After i finished the koshirae i polished the blade.
Second is a hanwei practical tanto,i made everything except for the saya,i just added a horn koiguchi.
I had to completely destroy the tsuka since it was glued on the nakago,then i made the new one,wrapped the samegawa and added horn fuchi/kashira,i polished this one as well.Last is the Munetoshi usagi,for now i just made new tsuka but I'm making the saya as well,after it's finished I'll polish the blade.

how do you polish the buffalo horns?? nice vids hope that you'll make a tutorial on polishing horns

@RYUNOMI13TADEH First i roughly shape them on a belt grinder,then i fine tune them with a smooth file,after that i get rid of any scratches with sand paper and i finish them on a buffing wheel to make them shiny.

second,that is awesome that you have a bolf tanto. i have learned so much from watching his videos.probably the most informative videos i've seen. and do i really need to comment on his skill?for anyone who doesn't know pavel bolf,look at balzerz channel. revan,do you know pavel personally?

you have alot of time and coin invested and it shows.your attention to detail is great. i applaud you.

Thanks,yeah i do know him,actually i was at his place yesterday,he moved recently,and he's now living some 15 miles away from me,so i get to see him pretty often now. Recently i got a katana from him (i uploaded a few photos in my last vid), and i have two more tanto I'm working on currently.
