  • I'm all for it. I'd rather live free than be bound by the shackles of socialism. All of you liberals with your condescending self righteous attitudes can think and say whatever you want. Just stay the fuck away from me.

  • @jenni3613 I have read it. I consider it a step towards autonomy. I'm hopeful my own state will make this move soon.

  • @SAMSIZZLE123 Ron Paul's approach is very much in line with the Constitution, the thing is, his approach does not call for the proper post-industrialization Amendments needed to create a stable first world social and economic structure.

There is no doubt in my mind the States need to legally give up power, but they also need to take back the power illegally usurped by the Congress. And the Congress needs to take back the power illegally usurped by the Executive branch. Supreme Court = mess.

  • @fRoMeThEwEsT Even under the Constitution each state was guarenteed the rights to act as seemingly independent nations. That is why the US is the "Union" and not a "nation."

It is a "perpetual union." The thing is, the Union has been disbanded, and the states all but abolished as effective legislative bodies, but instead merely districts. The original meaning of the States was the equivalent of England and Spain, and not merely provinces like Brittany, France, or Andalusia, Spain.

  • @colombus66 We aren't even capitalist anymore. The U.S. is in this weird limbo on free market and planned economy. The problem is we have restrictions and limitations where we shouldn't and then none where we should.

The free market works relatively well. Far better than any other known economic system. There is a balance between laisse farie (which is a disaterous policy in a developed nation) and where we are heading.

  • @colombus66 So move to Cuba, fuckhead.

  • @Chaser880 So what are you saying? That the world is imperfect? Well, cry me a river. if you're so concerned about thses people, why don't you gather them up and take them down to Cuba for treatment.. Think you'll find it? Ask your liberal god obama to pay for it since he and his union buddies are exempt from his own piece of shit health plan. And by the way, I didn't ask for your pity..asshole.

  • I pray Georgia and other southern states will secede one of these days I want to have a right to own anything I want without the Government taxing me or telling me what I can own.My idea untied southern states would be that the states hold all the power and the feds have none and if the fed uss tries to take citizens rights away then they can be legelly shot on sight for treason.

  • @MrBolas33 By socialism? As far i'm concerned Capitalism is what's fucking everything this country...

  • "Deo vindice"? Evidently not. More like "Iudicavit Deus vobis", and the punishment was Biblical indeed.

Any time you are ready to try it again, just let us know.

  • @Chaser880 just some of the departments that are failing and putting us in debt. Not the entire federal government or the way it works.

  • @Chaser880 will work even better with 50 states than it did with 13
