six days seven nights

Found one of the actual beaches on the island of Kauai ( Papa'a Bay) where the movie Six Days Seven Nights was filmed during the plane crash scene at the end of the movie when they were having the memorial and Ann Heche crashes the plane.. Really cool quiet secluded beach. Great fishing! Anyways decided to reenact and ad lib what ever we could remember about the movie on the this beach. Our version has a dog we call Buddy. The volume or audio is bad due to the distance we had to stand from the camera and ocean background noise. But if you view the movie correctly remember alot of this movie had CGI and film editing to make things look like different areas and in real life they are not the same. In the movie they skip around the island of Kauai like its only a ten minute walk. Most of the plane crash scene that appears in the movie seems to take place on the beach in front the Kauai Marriot near the Lihue airport. Just notice the big rock formation in the background of Nawiliwili Bay. It appears to me that they are on Kalapaki beach. I think the film editors had to do alot of film superimposing. I have also been searching for the actual falls that appear in the movie because I have never seen these falls. I believe they are Kilauea Falls. If I go I will film the snake scene. Just having some fun.......... Enjoy
