So the stationary clips I've seen are better then? I only ask as they look incredibly painful, some are even cut allowing the cups to have blood run into them.

this is not that painful as you think, actually it depends on pt's body condition. for example, if patents has shoulder pain, he must feel pain when he get this kind treatment, if he is health person, he should feel no pain, maybe just little pressure
