If you want to have your website conform to XHTML standards then you'll need to adjust YouTube's embed code. If you don't it will fail the W3C XHTML webpage validator. This screencast will help you fix your code so it passes the validation tests.

This screencase was produced by Ron Grove from Evanoah I/T Services. For more video tutorials like it please come see us at http://www.rongrove.com

  • this video was useful thanks, do you know to fix the google map embed?

    thanks

  • thanks mate

  • Got it!!! I didn't use the right youtube address with the v in there instead of "watch" and whatnot. The W3 dot org site had an "&" at the end of the youtube address and it caused 10 errors and 18 warnings in validation but once I took it off it passed lol

  • Hmm, mine passes on the xhtml1.1 validation but it doesn't show up on my site.

  • This was very helpful; thanks a ton.
