Gumbo Ya Ya - Mardi Gras in The District returns for its seventeenth year on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, 2009. The event features two days of New Orleans zydeco, jazz, and blues on two stages and second line processions. Enjoy authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Shop the street vendors and experience French Quarter culture. Kids can make Mardi Gras masks and beaded necklaces Saturday. Enter to win a free airfare for two in the Gumbo Ya Ya getaway.
