Sorry we skipped your favorite mechanical parts, I think people in Wyoming are so amazed to see tall buildings like this 5 story monster that the basement gets less attention than upper floors :)

yah i figure that out,that generator that they have is just probly for the plant,it looks like a cummins generator 500KW.have you seen any turbines next to the boilers,if so then it is a cogen plant. Its efficient and money saver......

i wonder if how many operating engineers works in every shift,that plant is huge.

In the whole tour I think we saw about 6 workers including our guide but probably more out and about checking rest of plant outside.

Quite possibly Im sure, though the guide just said it was used for heating the University so it's possible that the electricity it could make might not be the amount needed to actually power the school so another source is used for electricty.
