  • i cant find it in registry editor or msconfig pls tell me what to do i cant even system restore it

  • Top MAN THANKS :)

  • @zetheraxza This worked for me:

Control-Alt-Del to get to Windows Task Manager. Everytime ave.exe popped up, quickly right-click it and End Process. You need one hand on the ENTER key to do it quickly.

  • yeah um pree sure it said 132,438 is 132 thousand 438 but maybe im just an idiot. this was cool vid tho

  • (Continued:)

You just have to be aware of the approximate time you contracted the virus so you know a good time for around when those files should have been last modified. And obviously if google doesn't know what they are they are totally random file names and therefore likely related to the virus.

Mine sole one for instance was named "0cmr8yf"or something like that. Can't remember the kind of file, but since google had never heard of it it made it easy to identify!

    Cheers and thanks.

  • Ok first of all I understood you very well so screw the haters who are clearly just ignorant.

I thought of a good way to locate the random file names it makes. You go to the places that Symantec has listed that it makes them in, and you arrange the icons by modified with hidden files and folders turned on. Then you can see when the files were made making it easy to identify the bad (newest) ones. If you are hesitant to delete, put the file names into google. If no results come up, they're bad!

  • hey good vid i got ride of virus but i have a question. when i did the reg edit scan i found the virus. and i delted it. but i deleted the defualt to all folders. how do i fix this? if i want to open itunes or pretty much anythnig buy internet it doesn't work, plz help!
